When I Look Into Your Eyes

When I look into Your Eyes, everything becomes so simple.

No world comes between us, there are only You and me.

When I look into Your Eyes, I have only one longing:

To drown in the Ocean of those Eyes, and be empty of myself forever.

When I look into Your Eyes, closeted with You,

Every object is part of this dream that has also come out of You.

When I look into Your Eyes I am with my Elder Brother,

bound for reunion with Your Unlimited Existence.

When I look into Your Eyes, every object is on the same Journey I am on.

Each will attain human form, make the turn, and long to return, as I do.

When I look into Your Eyes, I see that there, within Your Silence,

is the Book of the Heart which holds the key to the mystery of life.

When I look into Your Eyes, I do not want to come away

Until I can remain Face to Face with You, Beloved, wherever I am.
