LIFE-CELBRATION FOR DICK ANTHONY, AN OUTSTANDING SOUL: SEPT. 10, 2022
Yesterday I attended a life-celebration for a remarkable soul, Dick Anthony, who loved Baba for some sixty years and made outstanding contributions to America that affect society as a whole. Dick was a noted author. A related area of his work, not as widely known, is described in a Wikipedia article about him. Dick frequently testified as an expert legal witness. His testimony helped stop the denial of First Amendment rights to people pursuing a religion or spiritual path different from their parents, who were being forcibly removed from their chosen associations by legal decisions based on the spurious argument that they had been "brainwashed". Dick was instrumental in rendering such arguments obsolete. As a friend recounted at the celebration yesterday, Dick considered this work a part of his service to BABA. HIs whole life was loving and serving Baba. This outstanding soul finished his work of this incarnation on July 22, 2022. The outpouring of love yesterday by friends such as Rick Chapman and Alan Talbot, and especially by Dick's beloved wife Louise and Louise and their son Steven, was truly a full immersion.
